The project manager for the Selma Estates Flood Mitigation Project, Ryan Reed, has accepted a position with the county’s Department of Planning and Zoning. Maggie Auer, floodplain manager, has been named as the new project manager for the Selma Estates project.

The county continues to await an update from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) headquarters regarding the next steps in the reconsideration process for the Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) determination.
The county anticipates news regarding the status of the grant application review in June or July.
