Residents are encouraged to visit the project page to review the presentation, watch a recording of the meeting and provide a comment. Comments provided by August 9, 2021, will be shared with the Board of Supervisors at an upcoming Board meeting.

This portion of the Shellhorn Road extension project will extend Shellhorn Road from the northern boundary of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority property east to connect with Sterling Boulevard extended. The project will also realign a portion of Lockridge Road and extend Randolph Drive to link with Old Ox Road (Route 606). When completed, Shellhorn Road will be a continuous route from Waxpool Road to Route 28 at the present-day Sterling Boulevard interchange.
