[ARCHIVED] Loudoun County’s New COVID-19 Vaccination Site Opens in Sterling September 4

The Loudoun County Health Department will begin operating a new COVID-19 vaccination site at Sterling Elementary School, 200 West Church Road in Sterling on Saturday, September 4, 2021. The county’s vaccination site at Dulles Town Center closed earlier today, Friday, September 3. The hours of operation for the Sterling facility will be Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment only until further notice. Vaccinations at the Sterling location are free and open to everyone age 12 years and over.

Information about the Sterling clinic, including how to make an appointment for a vaccination, is online at loudoun.gov/covid19vaccine.

The Health Department encourages everyone 12 and older who has not yet been vaccinated to do so. COVID-19 vaccine is now widely available throughout Loudoun County from many providers, such as medical offices and pharmacies including, but not limited to, CVS, Giant Food, Harris Teeter, Safeway, Walgreens, Walmart and Wegmans. Visit vaccines.gov to find available vaccination appointments at pharmacies and other locations in the region.
