Loudoun County Update

  • County to Close Mass Vaccination Clinic: Loudoun County is permanently closing its mass vaccination clinic at Dulles Town Center effective at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022. The move comes as demand for COVID-19 vaccine in Loudoun continues to decrease and as COVID-19 vaccine is widely available from providers throughout the community. The county is currently planning to open a smaller vaccination site when the current location closes; details will be announced in the coming weeks. The county will continue to provide first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccine, as well as boosters, through the regularly scheduled hours on Saturday, February 26; however, individuals who receive their first dose within 21 days (Pfizer) or 28 days (Moderna) of the clinic’s closure must receive their second dose from another COVID-19 vaccine provider. You can walk-in or make an appointment to receive a vaccination during the clinic's hours of operation:
    • Tuesdays: 1:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    • Fridays: 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    • Saturdays: 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • COVID-19 Testing Events February 8 & 11 in South Riding: Loudoun County has scheduled COVID-19 testing events tomorrow, Tuesday, February 8, and Friday, February 11, 2022, at Dulles South Recreation & Community Center, 24950 Riding Center Drive, South Riding. Testing is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., but may begin early to mitigate traffic impacts and may close early if capacity is reached. The required registration form may be filled out and submitted online prior to the testing event.
    • Register online (English) | Español
    • Submitting the form in advance is not an appointment or a guarantee for a test. The form is required and asks for general information including name, date of birth, address and phone number. The information is kept private. For anyone who cannot submit the forms online, paper forms will also be available at the testing site.
    • Find more details at loudoun.gov/covid19testing.
  • Other COVID-19 Testing Options: The Virginia Department of Health has established regional community testing centers in Fairfax and Prince William Counties. Both centers operate by appointment only.

  • New Isolation & Quarantine Calculators: Wondering what to do if you were exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19? The Virginia Department of Health  now has online calculators to help you find out how long you should isolate or quarantine. Please note that the guidance is for members of the general public and may not apply to health care facilities, high-risk congregate settings or other setting-specific groups.
