WIOA Youth Orientation (VIRTUAL)

Finding a job is not easy; and for a young adult with little to no work experience, this can be a real challenge. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program assists eligible young adults ages 17 – 24 to gain the skills needed to succeed today’s workforce. The program can also help with educational support, training, and career development. Join us to learn if this program is right for you and, if so, what the next steps are to enroll. Who Qualifies for WIOA Youth Services: Young adults who are: 17-24 years old, and Legally eligible to work in the US, and Has a barrier to employment WIOA Title I-financially assisted programs and Virginia Career Works – Northern are an equal opportunity program/employer committed to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability in all programs, services and activities.
