The Loudoun County Special Olympics Council has openings for the following positions: Treasurer, Public Relations/Outreach, Newsletter Editor, Athlete Representative and an At-Large Member. The Council is a volunteer board that meets once a month and oversees all Special Olympics activities in the county. Terms run for two years.
Interested candidates should send their bio to caitlin.marcotte@loudoun.gov expressing why they want to be a member of the Council and their qualifications for the desired volunteer position. Candidates will be asked to attend the Council meeting on May 14, 2012, and to come prepared to address the Council and answer questions.
