[ARCHIVED] Managed Deer Hunt at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve

The October hunt is an archery-only event. Hunters will be allowed to harvest a buck, with a minimum of four points total, after harvesting at least one antlerless deer.

Hunters will be selected through a lottery registration, which ends on August 31. Interested hunters can register online at WebTrac In-person lottery registration will be available Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the PRCS Administrative Office, 20145 Ashbrook Place, Ashburn, VA 20147. Lottery tickets are $10 for Loudoun residents and $15 for non-residents. There is no limit on the number of lottery tickets purchased.

Hunters and alternates selected through the lottery will be notified September 1. All participants must have a Virginia hunting license, pass a qualifier, purchase a Loudoun County hunting permit ($30) by September 17 at WebTrac, and attend a mandatory orientation at Banshee Reeks on September 21.
