The deadline to register for Winter Break Camp is December 15. The Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is offering Winter Break Camps for ages 5-12 on December 22-23 and 29-31, 2014 at Bluemont Community Center, Algonkian Elementary School (Sterling) and Liberty Elementary School (South Riding).
Winter Break Camp features arts andcrafts, science, cooking, sports and special events. Children should bring two snacks, a bag lunch and a water bottle, and dress for indoor and outdoor games. The usual hours are 7:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., although camp will close at 4:00 p.m. on December 31. The fee is $160.
