Loudoun County, Va.-Two men were arrested early Sunday morning after a traffic stop uncovered a large amount of marijuana, THC oil and cash.
The traffic stop was initiated shortly after 2 a.m. on January 27, after a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Deputy observed the driver of a vehicle traveling erratically in the area of Route 50 near Tall Cedars Parkway.
During the traffic stop, the deputy detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle uncovered 4.17 pounds of marijuana, 16 vials of THC oil, and $8,130 in cash.
The driver, Parker A. Shepherd, 28, of Washington, DC, and a passenger, John J. Aguilar, 27, of Burke, Va., were both charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Shepherd was released on a $2,500 secured bond from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. Aguilar was released on a personal recognizance bond.
