Website-Serious Crime

Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances of a traffic altercation where the victim’s vehicle window was damaged in the area of Evergreen Mills Road near English Yew Place.

The driver and a passenger reported shortly before 8:18 p.m. on February 23, 2019, they pulled onto Evergreen Mills Road from Shreve Mill Road when a dark-colored truck began tailgating them. The driver and passenger continued to travel on Evergreen Mills Road into the Town of Leesburg when they heard a loud noise and the rear window of the vehicle shattered.

The suspect vehicle was further described as a four-door truck with wide side mirrors.

It appears at this time the window was damaged by an unknown projectile but the exact cause remains under investigation. No one inside the damaged vehicle was injured during the incident. The Town of Leesburg Police Department is assisting with the investigation.
