[ARCHIVED] Seats Available in Upcoming Youth Mental Health First Aid Class

The Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services offers Youth Mental Health First Aid classes, which are designed for adults who interact with young people. The class reviews the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents ages 12 to 18. The course is intended for anyone 18 years of age or older with an interest in learning how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.

The eight-hour course is taught over a two-day period. The next session is scheduled for March 28, and 29, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the department’s offices at 906 Trailview Boulevard, SE in Leesburg.
