Loudoun County, VA- A Sterling man who was reported missing yesterday afternoon returned home this evening and is safe.
A Senior Alert was issued for Mr. Albert Van De Griek after he left his home on Providence Village Drive in a vehicle but has since been canceled
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for their assistance.

Loudoun County, VA- A Senior Alert has been issued for a missing Sterling man who was last seen in the area of Providence Village Drive this afternoon.
Albert Vandegriek, 87, is believed to driving a white 2004 Subaru station wagon with Virginia license plate ZJ-2363. He is considered endangered due to mental and/or physical health concerns.
He is described as being 6’2”, 195 pounds, with blue eyes and white hair. He was last seen wearing a black and white striped shirt and gray pants.
