Anyone interested in becoming a Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener in Loudoun County is invited to attend an informational open house to learn more about the program, Tuesday, September 24, 2019, beginning at 7:00 p.m.at the Extension office, 750 Miller Drive, SE, Suit F-3, Leesburg.
Master Gardeners are trained volunteer educators who encourage and promote environmentally sound horticulture practices. The volunteers receive extensive training under the auspices of Virginia Tech and the Virginia Cooperative Extension, Loudoun Office. They provide information and support to the community through a number of programs and educational events.
Applications for the 2020 Master Gardener Program are being accepted through October 25, 2019. The 2020 training classes are scheduled to begin in January.
