Effective January 1st, 2020, Clerk of the Circuit Court will no longer accept Certificate of Assumed or Fictitious Business Name (CC-1050) filings.
Pursuant to Virginia Code § 59.1-74, starting January 1st, 2020, Certificates of Assumed or Fictitious Name (CC-1050) shall be filed in the office of the clerk of the Commission (State Corporation Commission). Please contact the clerk of the Commission directly for further information (https://scc.virginia.gov/).
Clerk of the Circuit Court will continue accepting filings of cancellations for certificates previously registered with Loudoun County Clerk of the Circuit Court.
