[ARCHIVED] Workforce Resource Center Schedules Information Sessions on Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

Jump start the new year with career support at the Loudoun Workforce Resource Center. The center administers the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program in Loudoun County with services provided by trained employment counselors, including career exploration and guidance, connections with employers and the potential for credentialed training. 

The WIOA program can help: 

  • Upgrade your skills and increase your income, and  
  • Provide enhanced career support to help you achieve your employment goals.  

Attend one of the "Is WIOA Right for You?” information sessions held twice monthly at the Loudoun Workforce Resource Center. The next sessions will be held January 6 and 27, 2020.  Register at loudoun.gov/wrcworkshops to reserve your spot.

For more information about WIOA and eligibility guidelines, visit loudoun.gov/wioa. In addition to the information sessions, Loudoun County will offer information about WIOA services on a walk-in basis on these dates and times:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays in January, 9:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m.  - Loudoun Workforce Resource Center, 102 Heritage Way NE in Leesburg 
  • Beginning January 8, 2020, Wednesdays in January, 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Eastern Loudoun Family Services Center, 21641 Ridgetop Circle, Suite 101, in Sterling

The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center connects job seekers and employers to meet their employment goals.
