The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging has launched a virtual support group for caregivers of loved ones suffering from memory loss. While in-person caregiver support services are currently suspended in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the virtual group offers an opportunity for caregivers to still connect in a safe space and share tips and resources on how to navigate the oftentimes difficult journey of being a caregiver. Members will be able to share their stories, ask questions and meet others who relate to what they are going through. The group is facilitated by a trained leader who can provide support and help members access available resources.
