The June 1, 2020, meeting of the Joint Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and School Board Committee will be held in the Board Room of the Loudoun County Government Center in Leesburg. This is a change from the meeting’s advertised location of the Loudoun County Public Schools Administration Building in Ashburn.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m., will be conducted as an ‘electronic meeting’ under the Continuity Ordinance (PDF) adopted by the Board of Supervisors April 15, 2020. The Board Room will be open for the members of the public who wish to view the meeting in person; however, members of the public are encouraged to view the meeting remotely.
Members of the public who would like to provide comments at the June 1 meeting are able to do so remotely in keeping with the county’s efforts to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus. Remote participation will be through the WebEx Events platform. Information on how to participate will be posted at loudoun.gov/remoteparticipation prior to the meeting. Individuals wishing to participate electronically must sign up no later than noon Monday, June 1, 2020.
The meeting will be available for viewing live through the webcast system at loudoun.gov/meetings. It will also be televised on Comcast Government Channel 23, Open Band Channel 40 and Verizon FiOS Channel 40.
