Loudoun County government administrative offices will be closed Friday, June 19, 2020, in observance of Juneteenth; however, the Loudoun County Courthouse will be open.
The addition to the holiday schedule is in accordance with the county’s practice of following the Commonwealth of Virginia’s holiday schedule. On Tuesday, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam declared June 19 as a holiday, prompting the change in Loudoun County’s holiday schedule.
Employees who staff essential 24-hour county operations and other essential services will work as scheduled.
