The Loudoun County Affordable Market Purchase Program (AMPP) has a unit available in the One Loudoun development. The Loudoun AMPP enables eligible first-time homeowners with moderate income the opportunity to purchase a newly constructed townhouse or condominium. A one-bedroom condominium is immediately available in the One Loudoun community for $280,000.
First-time homeowners interested in purchasing a home through the AMPP must have a total household income more than 70% and less than 100% of the Area Median Income in the primary Washington Metropolitan Statistical Area, which currently is $126,000. In order to income-qualify, for example, a household of one would have to earn at least $61,750 and no more than $88,200. Similarly, a household of four would have to earn at least $88,200 and no more than $126,000.
The AMPP is one of several programs administered by the Loudoun County Office of Housing to increase affordable housing opportunities for Loudoun’s low- to moderate-income households, including homebuyers and renters, as well as nonprofits and affordable housing developers.
More information about the AMPP and other housing programs may be found at loudoun.gov/housing or by emailing Brian Reagan of the Office of Housing.
