[ARCHIVED] Extension Master Gardener Offers 2021 Training Class Information

Interested in Becoming a Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Volunteer in Loudoun County?  Join us for an online information meeting.

Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners are trained volunteer educators working with Loudoun County communities. Their mission is to encourage and promote environmentally sound horticulture practices through sustainable landscape management education and training. Master Gardeners are volunteers who have received extensive training under the auspices of Virginia Tech and the Virginia Cooperative Extension-Loudoun County office to provide unbiased research-based horticultural information to the community.

We are now accepting applications for the 2021 training class, which runs from late January through mid-April. This year will be a hybrid training with both virtual and in-person training options. All COVID-19 mandates will be adhered to for social distancing, face coverings, sanitizers, etc. to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Want to know more?  Please join us for an informational meeting on September 24, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. RSVP by email for meeting specifics.
