Due to inclement weather forecasted for Saturday, February 13, 2021, some county operations are modified.
Parks, Recreation and Community Services
- All recreation centers, community centers, senior centers that are usually open Saturday evenings and parks operated by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) will close at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021, and all programs after 6:00 p.m. are canceled.
COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic
- The county’s vaccination clinic will be closed, Saturday, February 13, 2021. All individuals who had vaccination appointments for Saturday will be contacted to reschedule their appointments at the next available opportunity.
- As a reminder, pre-registration to receive the COVID-19 vaccine is temporarily unavailable beginning at 5:00 p.m. on February 12, 2021 as we transition to the new statewide system. Read more details about this change.

COVID-19 Call Center
- The Health Department’s COVID-19 call center will open on time at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2021. Residents with questions related to COVID-19 may call 703-737-8300 for assistance.

- The county is carefully monitoring the weather forecast. At this time, no other decisions regarding county operations that may be impacted by the forecasted inclement weather have been made.
