The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is opening a new location for the K-6 Distance Learning Child Care Program. The program will be offered at Lovettsville Elementary School beginning Monday, March 8, 2021. Registration opens Wednesday, March 3.

Loudoun County Government, in collaboration with Loudoun County Public Schools, developed the program to support employees and families in the community during a time when children would otherwise be in schools. Launched in September 2020, the program provides care for children in kindergarten through 6th grade whose parents or guardians work while their children are enrolled in distance learning.

Parents can choose from school-day sessions and after-school sessions for two, three and five days per week. Details about the K-6 Distance Learning Child Care Program, including schedules, fees, safety precautions and registration, are available at loudoun.gov/DLchildcare. Families can email casa@loudoun.gov for more information.
