Loudoun County has launched an online COVID-19 Vaccine Data Dashboard to help residents follow the county’s progress in the ongoing vaccination efforts. The dashboard highlights key indicators of progress and status including:
- Date of pre-registration for which the Health Department is currently scheduling appointments
- Number of individuals remaining on the waitlist
- Vaccine doses received by Virginia and Loudoun County
- Vaccine doses administered in Loudoun County
The pre-registration date for which appointments are being scheduled and waitlist information will be updated weekly. The vaccine doses received and administered will be updated daily with data from the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) Vaccine Summary.

Waitlist Status
Loudoun County has started offering appointments to individuals in the following priority groups who submitted pre-registrations online or by phone on February 2 (advanced from January 25 in last Friday’s report). The Health Department is about a week further along on the waitlist for people age 65 and older. Priority groups continue to include:
- Health care workers
- Front-line essential workers in priority groups 1b, 1-3:
- Police, fire, and hazmat workers
- Corrections and homeless shelter workers
- Child care/Pre-K – 12 teachers/staff
- People age 65 and up
- People age 16-64 with underlying health conditions
When you are contacted by the Health Department for a vaccination appointment may depend on the exact date and time you registered, your priority category, and the state’s mandated formula of vaccine allocation. It may take several weeks to contact everyone who is on the waitlist for a particular day if registration volume was high.
There are currently 10,665 remaining on the waitlist (down 24,729 since last Friday’s report) for pre-screening surveys submitted by 5 p.m. on February 12 (with duplicates removed).
The wait time for an appointment continues to be about 6 to 8 weeks from the date of pre-registration.
Vaccine Doses for March 5-March 11
Total COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in Loudoun is 96,133 (up 13,235 since last Friday’s report), and more than 34,230 Loudoun County residents are fully vaccinated with two doses of vaccine (up 6,725 since last Friday’s report).
This week, the Health Department received 6,170 first doses of vaccine (down 1,140 since last Friday’s report). The Health Department also received a quantity of doses for those people who need their second dose.
Other Priority Groups in 1b
The county continues to follow state mandates that require us to prioritize appointments for people in the Phase 1b, 1-3 priority groups. It is not yet possible to predict when Loudoun will begin to vaccinate the individuals in Phase 1b, 4-11 priority groups.
People and organizations in the Phase 1b, 4-11 priority groups, as defined by the Virginia Department of Health, are:
4. Food and agriculture workers (including veterinarians)
5. Manufacturing workers
6. Grocery store workers
7. Public transit workers
8. Mail carriers (USPS and private)
9. Officials needed to maintain continuity of government (includes judges and public-facing judicial workers)
10. Clergy/Faith leaders
11. Janitorial/Cleaning staff
If you have not already registered for a COVID-19 vaccine, visit loudoun.gov/COVID19vaccine to submit your pre-registration form.
If you completed a pre-registration and have already received your vaccine from another provider, please let us know so we can remove you from our waitlist by sending an email to the Health Department.

Before and after Loudoun residents receive a COVID-19 vaccine, everyone is encouraged to continue taking the steps that help prevent the spread of the disease, including washing hands frequently, wearing face coverings, social distancing, avoiding large gatherings of people and staying home when sick.
