Have you tested your well water recently? Do you know that it is the responsibility of the property owner to regularly test water quality, maintain the water system, and address any potential problems to ensure the water is safe to consume?
Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) Loudoun provides provides affordable and confidential water testing to Loudoun residents. Participants will collect their sample using provided test kits and return them to the VCE Loudoun office. These samples will then be analyzed for 14 water quality parameters including bacteria, metals, nitrate, and hardness. Results will be provided by a video explanation with recommendations for treatment and maintenance.
The Fall Well Water program will be held on October 18 and 20, 2021. Registration is now OPEN. Our Spring Well Water program sold out two weeks before it began, so we encourage residents to register now. There are limited spots available for the Fall program.
