The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services has announced the closure of the Vestal's Gap Road entrance to Claude Moore Park, along with the Visitor Center and adjacent parking lot Tuesday, August 24, 2021. The closures are necessary in order to repave the visitor center entrance road and lot. The park can be accessed from the Loudoun Park Lane entrance to the property.
Restrooms at the Visitor Center will remain open. Park staff will be in the caretaker's cottage located near pavilion #1. Park rental reservations can be handled in person at Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center located on Loudoun Park Lane.
