Join the VCE Loudoun Master Gardeners on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. for the virtual lecture: "Putting the Gardens to Bed" with Normalee Martin, VCE Loudoun Master Gardener. Normalee Martin will talk about reflection and garden prep for next year, fall plantings, garden clean-up, supporting wildlife through the winter and garden tool maintenance.

Normalee Martin is a VCE Loudoun County Master Gardener from the class of 2008. Volunteering as Team Co-Lead of the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden at Ida Lee Park, Leesburg, since 2010, her knowledge of gardens is extensive. She managed the vegetable area from 2010 to 2015. From 2013 to present, she has been co-lead of the entire third-acre garden. Normalee loves the Demo Garden and is proud to be associated with all the Extension Master Gardeners who come to tend, teach, and learn. Normalee takes every opportunity to learn, and she maintains that gardening is a matter of experimenting and uses what some folks call failure as a tool for learning.

This event is hosted by Rust Library in partnership with the Loudoun County Public Library.
