[ARCHIVED] You Can Have the Power! Loudoun County Surplus Auction Features Generator, Bikes, Printers & More

Be ready for the next storm that threatens your power supply with a Briggs & Stratton Storm Responder Generator, one of the featured items in this month’s Loudoun County government surplus auction. Other items include children’s tricycles and adult bicycles, including a Mercier Galaxy, children’s games, toys and craft items as well as laptops and desktop computers, furniture and other typical office items, including an HP DesignJet T920 printer. The auction closes at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, October 14, 2021.

Loudoun County sells selected items online through Public Surplus, which was created specifically for public agencies. Anyone interested in bidding on the items must be registered with www.publicsurplus.com. Registration is free; however, a 9.75% buyer’s premium is charged to all purchases. Loudoun County government and school employees are subject to bidding limitations under the auction terms and conditions, which are available on the Public Surplus site. 

Loudoun County has specific hours for buyers to pick up their items at 14 Cardinal Park Drive, Suite 106, in Leesburg. Items must be picked up by appointment, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. The dates for items to be picked up are noted on each auction item listed on the Loudoun County auction site.
