Loudoun County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Chief Judge Pamela Brooks found the evidence presented Monday, October 25, 2021, to be sufficient to sustain two charges of sexual assault against a teenaged boy accused of sexual assault at Stone Ridge High School. As previously reported, the boy was 14 years old at the time he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old schoolmate on May 28, 2021. Based on the age of the boy at the time of the offense, and the seriousness of the charges, the hearing was open to the public.
The evidence established that the two students agreed to meet in the school’s bathroom as they had on two prior occasions. They both were in the handicap stall and were talking for a while together. During this meeting, the victim testified that the defendant put her on the ground and subjected her to non-consensual sexual acts.
The boy remains in detention and is due back in court in November.
