MARYLAND MAN CONVICTED IN STERLING ROBBERY

LEESBURG, Virginia – July 11, 2013. A Loudoun County Jury found Marquis Vasciannie, 20, guilty of Robbery, Abduction and two counts of Use a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. The three day trial concluded with the twelve person jury recommending that Vasciannie serve thirteen years in the Virginia Department of Corrections.

The charges stem from an incident in December 2012 in the Countryside area of Sterling.

The case is currently set for July 19, 2013 in Loudoun County Circuit Court where a final sentencing hearing will be scheduled before the Hon. Burke F. McCahill who presided over the trial.
