PROBATION VIOLATION LEADS TO REVOCATION OF
30 YEAR SUSPENDED SENTENCE

JUDGE RE-IMPOSES BALANCE OF PREVIOUSLY SUSPENDED TIME FOR 18TH STREET GANG MEMBER

LEESBURG, Virginia – September 9, 2013. Cesar Augusto Pisconte, 22, appeared before Judge Thomas D. Horne in Loudoun County Circuit Court for a hearing after being charged with violating his probation.

Pisconte’s probation stemmed from December 2011 incidents where he was charged with gang participation, conspiracy to use a firearm in the commission of a felony, and two counts of robbery. Pisconte, a known member of the Criminal Street Gang “18th Street “ confessed to participating in both robberies as part of gang “missions.”

Pisconte pleaded guilty to all four charges in May 2012, and was sentenced on August 24, 2012 to a total active sentence of 15 years in the Virginia Department of Corrections with an additional 30 years of suspended time.

Since his sentencing in August 2012, Pisconte has written numerous threatening letters from jail to President Barack Obama, the F.B.I., and federal judges. Additionally, some of the letters contained white powder or wires inside the envelopes. Pisconte conceded that he was in violation of the general good behavior provision of his 30 year suspended sentence. Based on Pisconte’s concession and his request to be sentenced immediately, Horne found Pisconte in violation of his probation and imposed the 30 year balance of his sentence.

Pisconte’s anticipated release date is no sooner than 2050, but he may face additional time in Prince William and Fairfax Counties.
