The Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is conducting another three-day, managed deer hunt at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve in Leesburg. This combined archery and shotgun hunt - scheduled for December 5, 12 and 19, 2014 - is being held to reduce the level of the herd at the preserve. Registration ends October 31.
