The Loudoun County Public Library invites the public to a second community meeting on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, to provide input and get updates on the design process for the new Sterling Library.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the current Sterling Library, 120 Enterprise St., Sterling. Child care and refreshments will be provided. The meeting has been rescheduled from July 28.
Architects and Loudoun County staff will discuss the plans for an expanded library facility, which will be located in the Sterling Plaza on Sterling Boulevard. Community feedback is important and attendance at the meeting is encouraged.

Two online surveys – in English and Spanish -- are also available for public input. To take the surveys and learn more about the project, visit library.loudoun.gov/Locations-Hours/Sterling.

Sterling Library has been a vital part of the community for nearly 50 years. The current 5000-square-foot library facility, co-located with the Sterling Community Center, has been in operation since 1977. In November 2014, Loudoun County voters approved a referendum to relocate, renovate, expand and equip the Sterling Library. The new library will expand to 14,500 square feet.

For more information, contact the Sterling Library at 703-430-3220.
