Don’t worry about keeping cool while celebrating Saturday, August 13, 2016, at the Loudoun Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services 50th Anniversary Kickoff at Franklin Park. The Franklin Park pool will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The usual pool fees will apply.
During the anniversary celebration, there will be misting tents, shade tents, a watering station and cooling station. The event runs from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., with fireworks at dark. Event admission is free. More information is online at www.loudoun.gov/prcs50.
