workshop ad

One in three Americans 65 and older falls each year, and falls are the leading cause of injury in older Americans, according to the National Council on Aging. The good news is that falls are preventable and not an inevitable part of aging. The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging is sponsoring free educational workshops and screenings.

Screenings will be held November 2, 2016 at 12:45 p.m. at the Carver Center, 200 Willie Palmer in Purcellville and January 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Area Agency on Aging, 20145 Ashbrook Place, Suite 170 in Ashburn. To register for these free programs, email aaasupport@loudoun.gov or call 703-771-5407 for more information.
