The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging and Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter will present educational sessions for professional and family caregivers beginning in February 2017.
The
family caregiver series will cover topics including Legal and Financial Planning, Understanding Dementia-Related Behaviors, and Communication Strategies. A
session for professional caregivers, "Making Connections, Enhancing Mealtimes & Understanding Wandering," will be held March 16.
All sessions are free and will be held at the Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging, 20145 Ashbrook Place, Suite 170, Ashburn, Virginia. For more information and to register, email
