The Loudoun County Office of Capital Construction and Waste Management and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services will hold a public information session regarding the conceptual design for renovation of the E.E. Lakes General Store on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Bluemont Community Center, 33846 Snickersville Pike, Bluemont, VA 20135.
The current renovation plans include provisions for restrooms, accessibility, parking, and building code compliance, using both state transportation grant funds and county funds. Through an agreement with the Bluemont Citizens Association, the County will open the building as a visitor center for tourists and bicyclists on weekends once renovations are complete.
