[ARCHIVED] Where Can You Hear Bagpipes & Steel Drums in Loudoun County?

Festival goers can hear bagpipe performers from Ireland and Scotland, a Reggae steel drum performance and much more at Loudoun’s third annual International Festival on Sunday, September 24, 2017, from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Douglass Community Center, 405 E. Market Street, Leesburg, VA 20175.

This annual multicultural event, sponsored by the Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS), features dance demonstrations, live bands and instrumentalists, food trucks, exhibits and merchandise vendors. Children’s activities include camel rides, a petting zoo, moonbounces, a rodeo rider, turbo tubs, climbing wall, crafts, games and barrel train rides.

Admission is $5 for ages 13 and older and free for ages 12 and under. Limited parking is available at Douglass Community Center. Additional parking is available nearby and at Frederick Douglass Elementary School. Free shuttle buses will operate from the Leesburg Park & Ride Lot, 19730 Sycolin Road, Leesburg, VA.
