The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services announces that the renovation and repair project at Ashburn Park has been completed and the park is now open to the public. Ashburn Park is located at 43645 Partlow Road, Ashburn VA 20147.
The project involved repair and replacement of footings, decking and guardrails for two aging bridges and repair of creek wall erosion. The construction project timeline had previously been extended due to the impact of recurring storms and heavier than usual rainfall amounts.
Unrelated to the construction project, certain playground areas remain closed due to damage from a fallen tree. The public is asked to respect any designated closed areas until the damage is repaired and safety of the area is secured.
