[ARCHIVED] Seats Available in Upcoming Adult Mental Health First Aid Class June 1

The Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services offers free Adult Mental Health First Aid classes, which introduce participants to common risk factors and warning signs of mental illness, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, eating disorders and schizophrenia, and how to offer initial help to someone in a mental health crisis. The eight-hour course is appropriate for anyone 18 years of age or older who wants to learn how to help a person who may be experiencing a mental health-related crisis or problem.  

Seats are available in the next session of Adult Mental Health First Aid, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 44330 Mercure Circle in Sterling. The class will be held in the training room on the second floor. Use Entrance 3, which will be clearly marked. Anyone interested in taking the class is asked to register online
