Campaign Finance Training Set for March 27, 2019, in Leesburg

The Virginia Department of Elections is holding Campaign Finance Training throughout the state in March 2019. Officials are offering a seminar for candidates and treasurers on the laws and policies governing campaign finance reporting and compliance.  This training is geared toward candidates, their staff and treasurers as well as treasurers for all types of political committees such as political action committees, parties and referendum.

“This is the first time in several years that ELECT is offering this type of regional campaign finance training,” said Commissioner of the Department of Elections Christopher E. "Chris" Piper. “I encourage all potential candidates, staff, and treasurers to participate in this important training.”

The training will be held in Loudoun County, Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at 1:15 p.m. at at the Loudoun County Office of Elections and Voter Registration, 750 Miller Drive, SE, Suite C in Leesburg 

Reservations will be accepted for each location on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes last approximately two hours.
