The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services has announced plans to replace the tennis courts at Franklin Park in Purcellville. The courts will be closed to the public beginning mid-October 2019. The project, which includes a geotechnical evaluation of the sub-base, demolishing the courts, compacting and preparing the sub-base, removal and replacement of fencing, netting and supports, replacing asphalt, and resurfacing and striping the courts, will take several months. Completion of the project, anticipated in March 2020, is subject to weather conditions.

Franklin Park is located at 17501 Franklin Park Drive, Purcellville, Virginia 20132. For more information, call the park office at 540-338-7603 or visit
