[ARCHIVED] Workforce Resource Center to Host Job Fair with Local Employers October 10

The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center will host the Loudoun Job Fair on Thursday, October 10, 2019, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Eastern Loudoun Family Services Center, 21641 Ridgetop Circle in Sterling. 

The Loudoun Job Fair will feature local employers with full-time, part-time and seasonal job openings in Loudoun County. In addition to the Loudoun County government, employers attending include: Amazon Warehouse, Daymon Interactions, MyEyeDr., Rhythmic Technologies, Inc., Sight & Sound Systems, Swarovski, Swissport, Target and the U.S. Census Bureau. Immediate opportunities are available in the fields of accounting/finance, customer support, government, management, recreation, retail, service operations, sales, technical and warehouse. 

The free event will also offer the opportunity for resume critiques, from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., as well as provide information about local resources, including commuter services and family services. Spanish interpreters will be available. 

Job seekers are advised to be prepared to meet with employers by dressing professionally and bringing multiple copies of their resumes to the job fair. Additionally, those planning to attend the job fair are encouraged to pre-register at loudounjobfair.eventbrite.com to receive reminders and updates. 

The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center, a Virginia Career Works affiliate, helps businesses identify well-qualified applicants and helps those looking for work find the right fit.
