Extended Hours for Absentee Voting Begin October 26, 2019, in Loudoun

Extended hours for absentee voting ahead of the November 5, 2019, general election will begin Saturday, October 26, 2019, in Loudoun County. 

Voters may vote an absentee ballot in person at these locations: 

  • Loudoun County Office of Elections and Voter Registration, 750 Miller Drive SE, Suite C, in Leesburg: Saturday, October 26, and Saturday, November 2, 2019, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Absentee voting also will be available at the office Monday, October 28, through Friday, November 1, 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. 
  • Senior Center at Cascades, 21060 Whitfield Place, Sterling: Saturday, October 26, and Saturday, November 2, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Absentee voting will also be available Monday, October 28, through Friday, November 1, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Dulles South Recreation and Community Center, 24950 Riding Center Drive, South Riding: Saturday, October 26, and Saturday, November 2, 9:00 a.m. -  5:00 p.m. Absentee voting will also be available Monday, October 28, through  Friday, November 1, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The deadline for voters to apply to have an absentee ballot mailed to them is 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2019. The last day to vote an absentee ballot in person is Saturday, November 2, 2019.

There are a number of reasons that voters choose to vote absentee, including school, work, vacation or illness. Information on eligibility to vote absentee is online at loudoun.gov/absentee.

  • Following the Office of Elections and Voter Registration on Facebook and Twitter. Loudoun County Government also posts general information on Facebook and Twitter.
