[ARCHIVED] Loudoun Workforce Resource Center to Host Job Fair with Local Employers January 29

The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center will host a Loudoun Job Fair on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the offices of Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services, 742 Miller Drive SE in Leesburg. 

The Loudoun Job Fair will feature local employers with full-time, part-time and seasonal job openings in Loudoun County. In addition to the Loudoun County government, including the Combined Fire and Rescue System and the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services, employers attending include: ABM-Aviation, Amazon, Daymon Interactions, ECHO, EIT, F.O. Day, INOVA Health System, Interstate, Lansdowne Resort and Spa, Morrison Healthcare Food Services, Navy Federal Credit Union, ServiceMaster Restore, Sparks Group Inc., Stryker and the U.S. Census Bureau. 

Immediate opportunities are available in the fields of banking/finance, construction, customer support, government, healthcare, management, manufacturing, recreation, retail, service operations, sales, technical, staffing and warehouse. 

Job seekers are advised to be prepared to meet with employers by dressing professionally and bringing multiple copies of their resumes to the job fair. Resume critiques are offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Workforce Resource Center, 102 Heritage Way NE in Leesburg. 

Additionally, those planning to attend the job fair are encouraged to pre-register at loudounjobfairs.eventbrite.com to receive reminders and updates. All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Harry Dahlstrom’s “Turn a Job Fair Into a Job Offer” upon arrival or by visiting the Workforce Resource Center in advance, anytime during regular business hours.
