[ARCHIVED] Family Volunteer Opportunity

Delivering meals to homebound seniors helps students earn community service hours while distance learning and makes a difference in the lives of vulnerable Loudoun residents. Parents and school-age children can offer less than two hours of their time weekly or monthly to support the Home Delivered Meals Program (HDM) administered by the Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging. Volunteers safely deliver nutritious, noontime meals to individuals confined to their home. Drivers are needed weekdays in Ashburn, Leesburg, Purcellville and Sterling.

HDM volunteers use their personal vehicle to deliver the meals along a specified route. Email angela.lambert@loudoun.gov or call 703-771-5984 to volunteer. Find more information about the program at loudoun.gov/adultvolunteers.
