Loudoun County is hosting an online meeting to gain input from the public on the Evergreen Mills realignment and intersection improvements at Reservoir Road and Watson Road. The public information meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Members of the public are invited to join the virtual meeting to learn and ask questions about the project, which includes widening existing Evergreen Mills Road from 0.10 miles south of Reservoir Road to the southern end of the Goose Creek bridge, and constructing a new signalized intersection with the realigned Watson Road at the existing Reservoir Road location.

Login information and meeting materials are available for review at loudoun.gov/evergreenmillsrealignment. Meeting materials will include detailed corridor diagrams, speaker sign-up, and a comment form. Members of the public must sign up in advance to ask questions during the event by 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 21, 2020. Online participants may also send questions to the project team as chat messages, which will be answered during the meeting as time allows.

The improvements propose a new four-way signalized intersection with turn lanes between Evergreen Mills Road, Reservoir Road and Watson Road which will improve traffic operations and safety along this segment of the road. This $25 million project is funded through the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA), proffers and local taxes.
