The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services announces a partial opening of the new Moorefield Community Park Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020. The park is located at 43240 Clarendon Square in Ashburn. Park hours are dawn to dusk.

Athletic fields, which include two lit and irrigated rectangular ballfields and one lit and irrigated diamond ballfield, remain temporarily closed to allow for adequate turf growth. Additional park features include a large pavilion with restrooms and concession stand, a trail, three additional picnic pavilions, parking and a sidewalk network. Park patrons are asked to avoid any areas designated as closed.

An official ribbon cutting for Moorefield Community Park is anticipated in spring 2020. For more information, visit or email
