Medicare open enrollment flyer image

The deadline for Medicare beneficiaries to make changes to their Part D Prescription Drug Plan is Dec. 7, 2020. Anyone needing help during Part D Open Enrollment can receive free assistance from Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging counselors. Agency staff trained in the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP) can review current plans and help determine the potential cost savings from choosing a different plan for next year.

To ensure the safety of those seeking assistance, counseling services are being offered virtually by phone and email this year. Assistance is free, unbiased and confidential. Part D work sheets are available at Loudoun County senior centers, online at loudoun.gov/AAA or by calling 703-737-8036. Beneficiaries should email their completed work sheet to AAAMedicare@loudoun.gov or mail to: Medicare Counseling Program, Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging, 742 Miller Drive SE, Leesburg, Virginia, 20175 by Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020.
