The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services was awarded the James Farrell Award of Excellence for hosting five of the nation’s highest rated softball tournaments in 2012. The award was presented at the 81st Annual Governing Council Meeting of the Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) on November 13, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. ASA is the national governing body of softball.
