[ARCHIVED] Loudoun County Bus Service Impacted by Inaugural Events

In coordination with regional transportation organizations and to ensure the safety of Loudoun County commuters leading up to and following the presidential inauguration, Loudoun County Transit will modify the Commuter Bus Service in the area.  From Thursday, January 14 - Friday, January 22, 2021, bus service will be impacted going to and from Washington, D.C. 

Bus Services Affected

  • Loudoun County Transit will operate morning and afternoon Commuter Bus Services to and from the West Falls Church Metro Station only. This includes Routes 281, 282, 481, 482, 681, 682, 881 and 882.
  • Regularly scheduled bus service to and from the West Falls Church and Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Stations will operate as normal. View Metro Connection Service schedules.  
  • The Local Fixed Routes will operate as normal.
  • There will be no Commuter Bus Service or Metro Connection Bus Service on January 18, 2021, for Martin Luther King Day, or January 20, 2021, for Inauguration Day.

Bus riders are encouraged to stay informed in the event of further service disruptions by signing up for transit alerts through Bus Biz, an email notification system, and text alerts through the LC Alert notification system at loudoun.gov/busbiz.
